Facilities
The Lititz Watch Company has on site facilities for almost
all aspects of watch, clock and jewelry repair and restoration.
You may enjoy a few photos of our facilities.

The Lititz Watch Company originally comprised of two buildings,
one of which housed a bakery. Occasionally I still smell
yeast in the basement. |

This is our main showroom. We stock over 500 clocks and
watches, $100,000 in estate jewelry, and typically 12
beautifully restored pre-owned Rolex watches. |

And this is our main clock repair area. My father made
the bench 45 years ago. Here we have everything we need
to completely restore clock movements. |
Have a look at our 1923 Seth Thomas tower clock movement,
which was originally installed an unknown tower in New
Jersey. It is designed to drive 4 clock dials up to 6
feet in diameter such as in a town hall clock tower. The
pendulum bob weighs 125 pounds. The clock is weight driven
but rewound by an electric motor.

Our Emco 8" x 30" lathe features a milling head.
Made in Austria, it is much more precise than the modern
Asian-made products. |

With our Boley long-bed watchmakers lathe we are able
to fabricate parts which are impossible to purchase. |

We are different from probably any other watch and clock
shop in that we also have a full time in-house goldsmith,
Ricci Dehl. |

This is our main watch repair area. We have a full compliment
of testing equipment for quartz, tuning fork, and mechanical
watches.
Polishing and satin finishing are used heavily in Rolex
watch case refinishing. Yes, we keep the dirt in the basement
for a reason.
Our parts department stocks thousands of parts for vintage
watches, and we have accounts with major manufacturers
such as Omega, Rado, Tissot, Hamilton, Seiko, Bulova,
Swiss Army, and many others. |

Our L & R watch-cleaning machine is affectionately
known as "Quasimoto". |
