Preciso 47
The Preciso 47 from the Lititz Watch Company is an instrument for the purpose of testing watches for leakage after wet pressure testing. The watch is heated to a temperature between 45° and 50° C and a drop of room temperature water is placed on the crystal. If the watch has leaked condensation will form on the underside of the crystal.

The required precise temperature is obtained through a proprietary solid-state thermister based temperature control system that allows for fast heat up and extremely precise temperature control. The power supply is UL and CE listed and can be used in both 110 volt and 240 volt applications. The factory-calibrated temperature of 47° C can be changed by the user anywhere between 27° C and 70° C, although 47° C is the perfect temperature not only for testing for condensation but for drying metal watch bands and cases.

Use:
Plug the power supply into an AC source between 100 and 200 volts. Plug the output of the power supply into the back of the Preciso 47. Turn on the heater with the switch located on the front left hand side of the panel. The red LED will glow indicating the unit has power. The Preciso 47 is factory calibrated to 47° C (117° F). The user may change the temperature by inserting a 2 mm watchmaker's screwdriver in the calibration hole on the front right hand side of the tester and rotating the trimpot.
